We Made it into the new House

Well, we did it. We moved in to the new place, and it is still a disaster zone over here. No Internet connection for me yet (still working that out), so I'm blogging by phone!

I wanted to share the beginnings of a journal page that I've started. I sketched out a girl's face and look forward to adding some color. Also, I just downloaded Hipstamatic on my iPhone (since everyone else seems to enjoy it) and wanted to play with that a little :) It is kinda fun! Another meeting with the builder tomorrow afternoon about my new studio. Sounds like this is actually going to happen and I'm so thankful. I will probably get the new studio just before or after the baby comes, but that's okay. At least I'll have it for the day/time I'm ready for it! It will wait for me until the time is right :) Right now, I'm just concerned this babe will be early. I'm only 33 weeks, but I'm nervous about her coming too early! My first child was three weeks early... Hope you're having a great week! ~Kelly

  2. How nice that you're in the new house by now and that there is a silver lining about your studio. I can understand your concerns about an early arrival of the baby - try to take it slow, relax a lot (I know, easier said than done). The start of the journaling page looks beautiful to me, I love the color.

  4. So exciting for the up coming studio and a lot more for the baby. With all the changes around maybe she will want to be here sooner to help you :). Love the sketch. Take care..Ah, my new job is challenging and it will let me enjoy more my art.... and work on my creative business as well. It is something I would never thought I will be doing again! You are the first to know....Believe it or not, besides engineering I worked for a short time as a residential appraiser and after 5 years I will be doing commercial appraisals with my brother in law. His office is 5 minutes from my home. It is a real challenge but I am enjoying it so far and I best of all, I can make my own schedule.:))

    Taker good care of you!
