"Word Processing" Exhibit

I'm still excited about this exhibit happening in Concord, NC.  They really do a nice job over there.  Did you see the Youtube link I posted to Facebook?  These guys obviously do these little videos to talk about what is happening in their area on a regular basis.  They filmed this video at the exhibit and even though it is a ten minute video, you only need to watch the first three minutes to see the exhibit.  They show a few of the pieces in the show, one of which is a little birdie of mine.  This piece has two little birds standing on metal legs, facing each other.  The piece is entitled "Life".  Check out the video, if you have time!

The other cool thing is that some good friends of mine went to see the exhibit, and she shot these photos of my work on her phone and sent them to me.  I, personally, still haven't seen the show, but I am trying to get up there on the 11th for their official Art Walk reception of the show.  I think the show looks fabulous and I'm super excited.

In other news, I've got my show fast approaching in March, and I'm starting to get stressed about having enough work for the show.  Each piece takes me so long to make, that it's hard for me to over-produce.  That's never, ever happened to me.  Ever.  But I always look forward to these shows and enjoy sharing the pieces that I do have, and somehow it always works out, no matter what.  It's funny how it works that way!

I've got some other big news in the works, but that will have to wait until a later post....   :)
